Hi my name is Sylvia Toya Brown and this is my first website. On this site people can locate my resumeand also learn all about me. I was born on July 4,1982 with my sister Sonya Tonisha Brown to Ella Mae Brown and Samuel Blue. Yes that's right, I am a TWIN! I attended St. Sabina Grammar School. There I was on the pom-pom team from 1994-1995. I won a trophy and a medallion for most improved dancer.
I graduated from St. Sabina in 1996. I went on to Simeon Vocational High School, later renamed Simeon Career Academy. My studies were general studies. When I became a Sophomore I had to pick a major. The major that I chose was Information word Processing. I stuck with this major for two years. In my Senior year of high school I changed my major to Marketing. I was enrolled in this program called Shell Youth Training Academy (SYTA). Therefore my major had to get changed. The program had its up's and down's. I really encourage high school students whose schools offer this program to try it. The program is only for one semester but in that one semester a lot is accomplished. The program prepares young high school students for the real world. SYTA find high school students jobs and teaches them all about this fierce world.
I grauated from Simeon and SYTA in the year of 2000. I never took my S.A.T.'s so I enrolled in Robert Morris College after high school. My major is Media Arts. I think this is a great field to go in to but it is just not for me. This field does offer some of the classes that I need for the field that I want to go into which is why I decided that I will stay at the college until I get my Associates Degree. I want to be a Film Director/Producer. I feel I really do have what it takes to be a great Director. Another reason why I want to go into this field is because I want to be FAMOUS! I signed up to take some acting classes, not to be an actress but to be well acquainted with the film world once I decide to actually take that big step. I just wish that I would have thought more about what I wanted to be back in high school and then I could have made a better decision in my schooling. I never really took the time to think about Colleges so I chose Robert Morris rather quickly. It is a cool school but it does not offer most of the classes that I need for the field that I want to go into. I am a Sophomore at Robert Morris College right now. I never expected to go to college but I am so glad that I go. I truly believe that God created me to be a Film Director. Therefore I will always work my best to become the best. View my Pictures
